Welcome to Lori B Pottery! Each piece of Napa pottery is handcrafted by me with love, joy, and meticulous attention to detail in my home studio located in Napa, CA. I use high-quality materials to ensure that each pottery piece is not only beautiful but also functional pottery. I exclusively utilize commercial glazes that are labeled lead-free and food safe. My work includes both stoneware and porcelain clays, which are fired twice at high temperatures, making the pieces durable and safe for the dishwasher and microwave, unless noted otherwise. I am passionate about creating unique pottery that is not just visually appealing but also serves a purpose. I love experimenting with different color combinations to design pieces that can be energizing, calming, and inspiring. My home studio is in my garage, where I create functional pottery. I have a kiln named Quintessa (Tess for short), 2 pottery wheels by Vevor, a Shimpo slab roller, and approximately 200 different glazes (gulp), along with many shelves! There’s lots of space to create and play, for which I am extremely grateful. One of my favorite things is having friends over for clay dates, where we explore unique pottery together. I also have a Shimpo and a Bailey wheel inside my home, allowing me to produce Napa pottery right at my fingertips. I love being in my studio!
